Long before shepherds heard angels or Magi followed a star, the world had been waiting.
The story of Christmas doesn’t begin in Bethlehem—it begins in the wilderness, in the palace courts, and on lonely mountains where prophets, often misunderstood and mistreated, declared a coming hope.
They spoke to kings and commoners. They warned of judgment. They wept over sin. And in the midst of war, exile, idolatry, and despair, they kept whispering of someone yet to come—a servant, a king, a child, a light.
