Looking Ahead to 2026
What to expect on Power Love & Miracles
As we approach the end of 2025, I want to give you a preview of what’s coming in 2026 on Power Love & Miracles.
We will continue the devotional series you’ve been walking through with me over the past several months—but with a broader and more integrated scope. I originally began writing devotions after an “out of the blue” inspiration. I had never written devotional literature before, largely because many of the devotions I encountered felt disconnected from everyday life. They offered insight for the moment, but not always guidance for the rest of the day.
That’s why I intentionally included elements like Practice for the Day, Journaling Prompt, and especially Pray as You Go. Hearing from so many of you that these practices have been meaningful and life-giving has been both humbling and deeply encouraging.
A New Devotional Series: Unassuming Heroes of the Bible
Beginning in January, I’ll introduce a new 31-day devotional series called Unassuming Heroes of the Bible. Each day will focus on a biblical figure who is often overlooked or easily missed. Many of us feel unseen in our own lives, yet these lesser-known characters remind us that every life matters in the Kingdom of God—and that faithfulness is often quiet and hidden.
All other offerings on Power Love & Miracles during this season will follow this same theme.
The Bible Unplugged: Expanded and Deepened
The Bible Unplugged podcast will expand alongside the devotions. One of the most common pieces of feedback I receive is that listeners wish the episodes didn’t end so soon. Beginning in January, episodes will grow from 7–8 minutes to approximately 20 minutes.
This expanded format will allow for deeper exploration of Scripture, more practical application, and intentional space for reflection—including a brief Pray as You Go segment in each episode. The closing challenge will also be more focused and actionable.
Companion Books and a Simpler Reading Rhythm
In addition to the devotions and podcast, I’ll be releasing a spiritual growth and development book that expands on the same themes. These books will follow a format similar to Saints, Sinners & Scandals: The Real Story of Jesus’ Birth.
As a PLM+ member, you’ll receive early access before these books are released on Amazon and other platforms. Instead of receiving chapters spread across multiple weekdays, you’ll receive a single Sunday evening notification with the chapters for the week—giving you space to read at your own pace and reducing inbox clutter.
From Heroes to the Wilderness: Lent 2026
We’ll conclude the Unassuming Heroes theme just before Ash Wednesday (February 18, 2026). From there, we’ll enter the season of Lent—a forty-day journey of prayer, reflection, fasting, and repentance leading toward the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus.
This mirrors Jesus’ own wilderness experience before beginning His earthly ministry. During Lent, we’ll walk through a 40-day devotional series titled Love in the Wilderness, focused on spiritual transformation, accompanied by a companion book and podcast episodes.
A Closing Word of Gratitude
The coming year will be a season of growth and expansion for Power Love & Miracles. I’m deeply grateful that you’re walking this path with me. If this ministry has been meaningful to you, I invite you to share it with others so we can continue blessing more lives together.
My prayer for you is that 2026 will be a year of deep spiritual growth as you draw closer to the God who created you and who is faithfully at work in your life.
Blessings,
Brent

Your plans for the new year sound excellent! I'm especially looking forward to the Unassuming Heros series. (One of my favorites, as I mentioned to you recently, is Hur who along with Aaron held Moses' arms to ensure victory for the Israelites in battle.) And your Sunday evening weekly notifications is a great idea. Thanks so much for ministering AND listening to replies. It is a blessing to grow together in learning and applying God's word.
