Day 30: Love is God’s Language
God doesn’t speak through fear or force—He speaks through love
Scripture: 1 John 4:16
We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
Love is God’s native language.
Everything He says, does, and is—flows from love. To hear God clearly is to tune in to that frequency. And to remain in God is to remain in love.
We often imagine God’s voice in thunder or spectacle, but more often, He speaks through stillness—compassion, patience, forgiveness, kindness. Every time we extend grace, every time we choose mercy over judgment, we speak God's language back to Him.
Remaining in love isn’t just treating others kindly; it’s about abiding in God.
We remain in love when we trust His love for us, even when we feel unworthy.
We remain in love when we choose connection over control, grace over judgment, hope over fear, kindness over anger.
The closer we stay to love, the closer we stay to God.
And when love becomes the language of your heart, you carry His presence into every conversation, every relationship, every ordinary moment.
Practice for Today
Be intentional about “speaking” God’s language today.
In every interaction—at home or work, in silence or in conversation—choose to respond with love first.
Watch how even the simplest moments become sacred.
Journaling Prompt
When today did I feel most connected to love?
What changes when I choose to act from love rather than fear, pride, or anger?
Blessing
Let your heart be fluent in the language of love.
Live today aware that you are deeply loved by God.
And may every word you speak
echo His kindness into the world.
Pray As You Go
Inhale: God is love...
Exhale: ... I remain in love
