Scripture: Mark 5:25–34
Reflection
After twelve years of suffering, isolation, and disappointment, a woman reaches through the crowd with a fragile but determined hope: if she can just touch Jesus’ garment, she will be healed. When healing comes, Jesus does not allow her story to remain hidden. He calls her forward, listens to her truth, and restores her with the tender word “daughter.” This episode reflects on how hidden suffering often carries quiet, persistent faith. Love in the wilderness draws us out of isolation and reminds us that we are seen, known, and welcomed.
Prayer of Presence
Jesus,
You see the long, hidden places of my pain. Draw me out of isolation and meet my trembling reach with Your steady touch. Call me by name and remind me that I belong to You. – Amen
Carry This Prayer With You
Breathe in: Meet my hidden pain…
Breathe out: …with Your loving touch.
Until next time:
Stay steady
Stay open
Stay present
You are still… here
