Scripture: Ezekiel 37:1–10
Reflection
Ezekiel is brought to a valley filled with dry bones—a stark image of loss and hopelessness. When God asks whether these bones can live, the prophet answers with humble trust: “Lord Yahweh, you know.” As Ezekiel speaks God’s word, the bones gather and bodies form, but life only comes when God’s breath enters them. This episode reflects on how God brings life to places we have written off as beyond repair. Love in the wilderness meets us in the valley and reminds us that where God speaks and breathes, resurrection is still possible.
Prayer of Presence
Breath of God,
You see the dry bones in my life that I have declared beyond hope. Speak Your word again, breathe Your Spirit in, and raise what only You can restore. – Amen
Carry This Prayer With You
Breathe in: Breathe life in me…
Breathe out: …let me live for You.
Until next time:
Stay steady
Stay open
Stay present
You are still… here
