Day 25: The Simple Life with God
God’s invitation is not complicated—it’s to live simply, love deeply, and walk closely with Him
Scripture: Micah 6:8 (WEB)
He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
It feels like life demands more of us every day—more time, more achievement, more control. But God invites us into a life that is beautifully simple.
He doesn’t ask for perfection. He asks for presence.
To act justly means to live with integrity and fairness in your decisions and relationships.
To love mercy means to extend compassion, even when it’s not deserved.
And to walk humbly with God means to live in steady companionship, always aware that He is near, always guiding.
We recognize His guidance in every step.
Many people seek to escape responsibility. But God invites us to embrace the kind of responsibility that transforms the heart—living in alignment with His ways.
You don’t need to guess what pleases God. He’s already told you:
Live a life of justice.
Love showing mercy.
Walk humbly with Him.
Stay close.
This way of life simplifies your soul. It frees you from striving and returns you to what really matters—living in faithful relationship with your Creator.
Practice for Today
Simplify today.
Choose one way to act justly, one opportunity to show mercy, and one moment to practice humility with God.
Let this be your offering of simplicity and faithfulness.
