Scripture: Philippians 2:5–11
Reflection
Paul invites us to adopt the mindset of Jesus—the One who did not cling to status or privilege but emptied Himself in humble love. His downward path of service and obedience ultimately became the path to exaltation. This episode reflects on how love in the wilderness forms the mind of Christ within us, shaping our instincts toward humility and self-giving care for others. As we choose the lower place, we learn to trust the Father to lift us in His time. The way down becomes the way into true glory.
Prayer of Presence
Jesus,
You did not cling to Your rights but emptied Yourself in love. Shape my mind and heart after Yours. Teach me the joy of choosing the lower way and trusting the Father to lift me in His time. – Amen
Carry This Prayer With You
Breathe in: I humble myself…
Breathe out: …and choose obedience to You.
Until next time:
Stay steady.
Stay open.
Stay present.
You are still… here.
