A Daily Devotional Pause
In the coming days, I’ll be introducing something simple.
It’s called Still, Here.
Not a new direction.
Not a new program.
Just a new way of holding what is already here.
Each weekday, alongside the written devotion, there will be a brief podcast version — a quiet daily pause. The same reflection, spoken slowly. A few minutes to listen rather than read.
You can subscribe using your favorite podcast app and listen walking, driving, sitting in the early light, or while ending the day.
Some people take in words best with their eyes.
Others with their ears.
This is simply another posture of attention.
Still, Here is not meant to add to your list. It is not something to keep up with. It is an invitation to stop—even briefly—and remember that God’s presence does not hurry, and neither must we.
The written devotions will continue as they always have. Everything remains freely shared.
Still, Here will live alongside the writing as a daily place of rest. Nothing more complicated than that.
As Lent approaches and Love in the Wilderness begins, this feels like the right time to offer it — a small oasis in the middle of ordinary days.
If listening helps you breathe more deeply, it will be there.
If reading serves you better, nothing changes.
You are welcome either way.
More soon.
Blessings!
Brent
